In Conversation with Keith418

A surprisingly candid look at the occult community in a post Thelema Coast to Coast world.

I had been considering doing some sort of retrospective on Thelema Coast to Coast as it has been “off the air” for nearly 17 years. So who better to talk to than one of the leading voices of that show.

One of the more endearing qualities of TCTC was how it played like a radio program. While it lacked some of the benefits of the more contemporary long-form podcast format (this episode is nearly 2 hours long), it had reoccurring segments and guests, callers, music, etc. These served to make it a unique outlet in the occult mediascape.

Although there were many shows on which he was not featured, Keith418 was an integral part of TCTC. Having been in the occult scene since the 1980’s, when many of the communities that are existent today were still taking form, he is able to pull from his vast experience to elucidate on some of the challenges people are currently facing in todays occult organisations.

Though often being described as acerbic, I have always found Keith to be insightful and thoughtful. His arguments are well grounded and few can match his sheer amount of experience in the occult world in general and the Thelemic community in particular.

The episode is my first foray into the world of podcasting and will hopefully serve to set the tone for what is to follow.
